Denhams Auctioneers is holding an antique auction on Wednesday, March 25th featuring the Sir Barnes Wallis 'Dam Busters' Collection, including a Simplon draughting table/desk, cross section plans of the Mohne Dam, a wooden adjustable catapult used in the 1955 movie "The Dam Busters", a portrait of Barnes Wallis in Army Uniform, a 1942 calendar notepad, aerial photographic prints of the Mohne Dam, a painting of The Firth of Forth with the British Fleet from HMA 9 Airship, a collection of marbles used in the development of the Dam Busters 'bouncing bomb', and an aluminum sphere used in the development of the Golf Mine "bouncing bomb".
