What is AuctionsNearMe?
AuctionsNearMe.com is the auction discovery platform developed and operated by Auctify. We map live auctions on an interactive globe, allowing visitors to instantly discover assets being sold near their location or anywhere in the world.
While we aggregate listings from various independent auction houses, our core inventory is powered by Auctify technology. Click any pin on the map to view the auction details. Pin locations are indicative.
How our data is produced
AuctionsNearMe indexes more than 2,600 auction houses worldwide. Listings are found by automated discovery — a crawler that works through geographic regions, supplemented by business-listing lookups — and each auction house is then fetched from its own public website. Hosting-default, parked and suspended domains are filtered out before anything is published.
Auction house summaries on this site are generated by AI from the text of each auctioneer's own public website, and are refreshed on a rolling basis. Every profile shows the date its summary was last updated. Summaries describe what an auctioneer typically sells; they are not offers, and they are not written or reviewed by the auctioneer.
Which dates are verified
Not all dates on this platform carry the same confidence, and we label them differently:
- Verified lot times — start and end times synced directly from participating auctioneers' own systems, accurate to the minute in the auction's own timezone. These appear on upcoming auctions.
- Reported sale dates — day-level dates extracted from an auctioneer's published schedule and validated before publication. These are labelled “reported by the auctioneer”. Always confirm with the auctioneer before travelling or bidding.
- No date — where we have not confirmed a date, none is shown. An absent date means we have not verified one, not that the auctioneer is inactive.
Location is derived from geocoded coordinates; where a street address is uncertain we show the region rather than an address we cannot stand behind. We are a directory: we do not take bids, hold funds, or process payments for the auctioneers listed here. How search results are ordered
When you search on the map, results come in this order:
- Live lots matching your search come first. These are individual lots synced directly from sellers’ own auction catalogues (sellers who run their auctions on Auctify, the company that operates AuctionsNearMe). A lot is shown when your search words appear in its title or description. They are ordered by distance from the centre of the map, then by the soonest closing time, with at most two lots per seller shown before a link to the rest.
- Auction houses that may sell what you searched for come next: houses whose public website or AI-generated profile summary mentions your search words. We don’t have their catalogues, so check their website for current auctions.
- Other auction houses in the map view come last.
The same rule applies on Last Call: live lots whose verified closing time falls inside the page’s date window are shown first, soonest closing first, with at most two lots per seller. The other cards on Last Call carry dates that are mentioned on each auctioneer’s own website and read automatically; they are labelled “reported” and can be wrong.
Positions in search results are not sold separately. Live lots are listed first because they come with a verified catalogue and closing time; at present only sellers using Auctify provide that data, and Auctify is a paid service of the company that operates this site. Advertising in the results panel is labelled as advertising.
