Ald Fryslân auctions fine art and antiques, with recent news pointing to 17th-century Frisian master paintings and a rediscovered drawing attributed to Willem van de Velde. The house also takes in silver, jewellery, clocks and design objects, and its newswire includes a sale of military collectibles and a set of silver kaatsballen (traditional Frisian ball-sport pieces). Its stated base is Wommels, and it describes itself as the largest art and antiques auction house in Northern Netherlands.
