Seed Auctions

Oregon City Preschool is a cooperative preschool, not an auction house, so its only auction is a single annual fundraiser: "Where Dreams Take Root," a garden-themed event with live and silent auctions, lunch, and a drink ticket for $60 per adult ticket. The school's main offerings are its classes for 3's, 4's, and Pre-K, which it has run for more than 80 years in Oregon City. Guests are invited to come in garden-party attire, from florals and gardeners to bees and gnomes, though costumes are optional.

Fragodt Auction Co. is holding an online equipment consignment auction starting November 5th, and a Jeff Rheingans farm retirement online auction will begin closing on December 15th.

Hay, straw, livestock, and small-animal auctions are the core of Geyer Farm & Auction Service, which bills itself as hosting the largest hay auction in Michigan and has run since 1989. Its consignment sales also feature farm equipment, cars and trucks, ATVs, tools and power equipment, and antiques and collectibles, and the house says it buys estates and runs estate and real estate auctions. Hay and livestock sales are held every Saturday, while consignment auctions run on the second and fourth Sundays, with the company noting that outdoor sales proceed rain or shine.

Kivells is best known in this material for machinery and farm sales, with its current highlight a timed online machinery sale running through MartEye, featuring Ford, International, Nuffield and Ferguson tractors and implements alongside Lely and Tecalemit equipment. The lot list runs from a Ford 3600 with loader and a B100 International Drott crawler to Ferguson ploughs, harrows and cultivators, Cambridge rollers, and a Tecalemit 3.5T four-post lift. Among the more unusual entries is a 2003 Mercedes SLK230 offered without an MOT, alongside a 2014 Ford Transit Custom and a pair of steel-frame kit buildings, with the house billing itself as the most successful auctioneer in Devon and Cornwall.
