What AuctionsNearMe is

AuctionsNearMe.com is a directory and discovery tool for auction houses and auctions. We do not sell anything ourselves, we do not take bids, hold funds or process payments, and we do not participate in or control transactions between buyers and sellers. As with anything involving transactions there are risks; please read these terms and our safe trading guidance.

How listings are produced

Listings are compiled automatically. Auction houses are found through automated discovery, including the Google Places API, and each listing is then built from the auction house's own public website by our crawler (described at /bot/). Profile summaries, category and keyword information are generated by artificial intelligence from that website text. They can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, and must not be relied on without checking the auctioneer's own website. Map positions are indicative; where a street-level location is uncertain we show a region instead.

Auction dates are shown in two ways: times synced directly from a seller's own auction system, and day-level dates read from an auctioneer's published schedule and labelled "reported by the auctioneer". Always confirm details with the auctioneer before travelling or bidding.

No affiliation or endorsement

Listed auction houses are independent businesses. A listing does not mean that the auction house is affiliated with, endorsed by, or has approved AuctionsNearMe or Auctify, and we do not represent any listed business. Sellers whose lots are shown with live closing times use the Auctify auction platform, a paid service of Auctify B.V.; their profiles are marked accordingly.

Removal and correction of listings

Any auction house can have its listing corrected or removed at /remove-listing/ or by emailing info@auctionsnearme.com. Requests confirmed from an email address on the listed domain are processed automatically; all other requests are reviewed by a person. We act within a reasonable time, remove the content we generated, and exclude the domain from future discovery. Our crawler also stops and the listing is removed automatically when a site blocks it through robots.txt or a noindex, noai or tdm-reservation signal.

Listing your auctions

We do not manage listings on this site. To have your auctions appear automatically, with lot pages and live closing times, use Auctify.com; account management and listing tools are handled there.

Intellectual property

The summaries, texts and data compilations written or generated by AuctionsNearMe may be reused under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, with attribution to AuctionsNearMe and a link to the page the information came from. Names, trade marks and logos of listed auction houses belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. We do not republish the text, photographs or catalogues of third-party websites. Photographs of lots shown for Auctify sellers are displayed under the seller's agreement with Auctify and remain the seller's property. "Auctify" is a registered trade mark in the European Union.

Embed widget and data feeds

Our embed widget (/embed/), data feeds and API may be used free of charge for lawful purposes, provided the content is shown with its AI-generated and not-affiliated notices intact and with attribution to AuctionsNearMe. We may change or withdraw them at any time.

Liability

We provide the site on a "best effort", as-is basis. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, Auctify B.V. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site, from inaccurate or missing information, from listed items or auctions, or from the acts of listed businesses, buyers or sellers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where we become aware of fraudulent activity we will help to the best of our ability.

Legal jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal dispute will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
