Yokohama's SG Auction runs a weekly used-goods market in Tsurumi-ku, with Wednesdays devoted to furniture and home appliances and Thursdays to small items, media, kimono, precious metals and accessories. The house charges a ¥1,000 entry fee plus a one-time ¥20,000 registration for first-time sellers, and buyers pay a 10% commission while consignors pay none on same-day self-service sales. Sellers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before opening and stay through to the end of the market to help move sold goods.
