This vintage Zimmerman silk snakeskin dress comes from Simone Heng, award-winning author and speaker,
In 2023, Simone was invited to speak at Harvard University. The next day, walking down Newbury Street in Boston, she found herself reflecting on how far she had come from being an immigrant kid growing up in Australia,
She wandered into a vintage store and discovered a Zimmerman playsuit, an Australian label she had always admired but could never afford. It fit perfectly, and being able to finally buy it felt like one of the most empowering moments of her life.
For Simone, the piece became a symbol of how far she had come and a reminder that dreams that once felt out of reach can, with time, become reality.
